Hawthorne Purpose Statement

At Hawthorne, students and staff share responsibility for success. In a welcoming, safe, and supportive environment, we empower each scholar to grow academically, socially, and emotionally to their highest potential. We hold ourselves and each other accountable for growth, effort, and achievement. Each voice is valued, every role is important, and success is celebrated. All Hawks collaborate with purpose, reflect with honesty, and rise with a growth mindset to ensure progress for all.

School Creed: 

I am a Hawthorne Hawk.

I have great expectations for myself. 

I accept the challenge to become the best that I can be.

I accept the responsibility for my behavior and its results.

I do not have the right to interfere with the learning and well being of others. 

It is my duty to do my best at all times.       

The education I receive today,  will make me a leader of tomorrow.
